Started his career as a Marine Engineering Officer on oil tankers for five years before moving to the refining business, where he started as a Maintenance Engineer. He progressed through several leadership roles, serving as Section Head before taking his first Manager position in Phase-II, supporting commissioning and start-up of new units. He later moved into Workshop Management and Turnaround & Inspection leadership. He is currently the Manager of the Turnaround & Projects Department.​ ​ In recent years, he served as Director for major Turnaround projects in 2022 and 2025, with the 2025 turnaround recognized as the largest turnaround in the Middle East. The project involved the management and coordination of a substantial fleet of heavy equipment and critical resources across multiple work fronts, contributing to the successful execution of one of the region’s most complex industrial turnarounds while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, operational excellence, and schedule adherence.
